An Outstanding Experience

At our Hair Salon, we thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service we can offer. That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys their Hair By Lisa @The Firm experience. They’re not rules, they’re just some general things to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible.

Booking

 

Please call, text or pm me to make an appointment.

If there is no reply, please be patient. I will get back to you as soon as I have a minute to give you my full attention.

I do not generally take mobile calls while working with a client.

Payment & Deposits

​

I accept cash, bank transfer, Paypal and card payments only.

All payments must be settled in full.

Hair By Lisa @The Firm reserves the right to request any payment upfront for any services or products.

​Consultations

​

It takes around 15 minutes for chemical services and much longer for bridal.

 

​

Colour Patch Testing

 

All new clients requesting colour services MUST have a consultation appointment, where a patch test will be carried out to check for possible allergic reaction. The test needs to be carried out at least 48hours before service.

​

 

Pricing

 

All prices are correct as of 1st March 2021

For longer or thicker hair, an additional fee may incur and you will be advised accordingly prior to your service taking place.

Smoking

​

Please be aware that the salon is a smoke free environment.  We ask that you refrain from smoking whilst undergoing your hair service.  Thank you.

Children visiting the salon

​

Children will be welcome at the salon for haircuts.  However, whilst working under government restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic we ask that you maintain strict supervision of your child at all times.

For the safety of everyone, please have someone available to look after very small children while you're having your hair done.

NEED TO CANCEL?

We know that life sometimes gets in the way. That’s why we try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to cancelling appointments. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your set appointment, we’ll do our best to set up a better slot for you, no questions asked. If you cancel with less than 24 hours to go, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee.

What information we collect about you

We collect information about you when you contact Hair By Lisa @The Firm to inquire about services, book an appointment, have a service, sign up to any promotional advertisement, enter a competition, whether that contact is online, paper, email or phone.


The information you give me may include your name, home or business address, email address, phone number, date of birth, relevant medical history for chemical services.  All chemical services will be recorded and stored for future reference.


This information is required for locating homes to carry out services booked and being able to contact you in regards to your appointment. Text messages are sent out to remind you of your upcoming appointments and to thank you for your payment after service. DOB’s are for marketing reasons. This information will only ever be used by Hair By Lisa @The Firm.



How your information will be used


We will use your personal information to deliver the services you have booked.

​We will not share your information with any third party without your consent except to help prevent fraud, or if required to do so by law.

​If you have consented to receive marketing, you can opt out at any time.


You have the right, at any time to request we stop contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted, please email Lisa@hairbylisathefirm.co.uk and request removal.



How long your information will be kept for

​If you decide to no longer be a client of Hair By Lisa @The Firm with a 12 month period between appointments or if you request removal then we will remove all of your basic information within 7 days.


All chemical treatment record cards will be kept for 7 years from the date of your last treatment.

If you have given consent for communication then you will receive information until you opt out, or request removal.

Where your information is kept


Your information is stored online, on paper, on Lisa's mobile telephone and on her laptop. Paper information is stored in a locked unit in the salon and everything else is all password protected.



Access to your personal information, correction and removal

​You have the right to request a copy of your personal information that is held about you.

​We want to make sure that your personal information is up to date and correct. You may ask us to correct or remove any information you think is inaccurate.

​You have the right to request that any information about you is removed. For medical reasons, all chemical records will be kept for 7 years from the last date of treatment.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Thank you for shopping at Hair By Lisa @The Firm.


If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.


The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

Your Order Cancellation Rights


You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so.
The deadline for cancelling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.


In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.


Conditions for Returns
In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:


The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days
The Goods are in the original packaging


The following Goods cannot be returned:

The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.


Only regular priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
